Through steaming jungles, across barren deserts, over deadly oceans, through the air, and along impossible paths, the American Adventure Library presents first hand, first person accounts of American Adventurers in America and around the world, and of foreigners adventuring on the American Continent. These are personal narratives by men and women brave enough to face the unknown.
All audiobook recordings are complete and unabridged readings of the original first person accounts, digitally recorded and occasionally enhanced with sound affects. They attempt to create the illusion that the listener is hearing the adventure directly from the author in a very personal way that enhances the adventure.
